1. Introduction

BetBible is a trading name of GoodApps Pty Ltd (ACN 690 768 604) as Trustee for GoodApps Trust (ABN 51 457 243 472) ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the BetBible website and iOS app ("the Service").

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Name and email address (during registration)
• Billing and subscription information, including payment-provider customer and subscription references. Stripe processes card details; BetBible does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
• Referral code usage
• Betting preferences, bankroll and bookmaker balances you enter, tracked bets and results, saved selections, alerts and race notes
• Support messages and feedback, including contact details and the page you report
• Email-marketing preferences and when and how those choices were recorded
• BetBot questions, relevant screen context, AI privacy choices and saved memory that you can manage in Account

Information collected automatically:

• Device information (browser type, operating system)
• Usage data (pages visited, features used, interaction patterns)
• IP address and approximate location
• Essential cookies and preference storage; optional product analytics and advertising measurement when permitted
• Push-notification device tokens and app platform, if you enable notifications

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Process subscriptions and payments
• Send essential account, security and billing emails
• Send BetBible news and offers if you opt in. Marketing is optional; you can turn it off in Account or use an email’s unsubscribe link without signing in.
• Personalise your experience (bookmaker preferences, odds format)
• Manage the referral program
• Analyse usage patterns to improve features and measure signups, trials and purchases attributed to advertising
• Deliver requested alerts and respond to support or privacy enquiries
• Detect and prevent fraud or misuse
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

Different providers receive different information depending on the features you use:

• Stripe — Checkout, subscriptions and payment records. Stripe receives the information you provide at checkout; BetBible receives billing references, subscription status and payment events. Stripe privacy policy.
• Supabase — Account authentication, database and stored files, including your preferences and saved activity. Our primary BetBible database is hosted in Sydney, Australia. Supabase privacy policy.
• Google Workspace — Inbound support email and team correspondence, including the address and content you send us. Google privacy policy.
• Google sign-in — If you choose it, authentication and basic profile details such as your name, email, profile identifier and photo where supplied. Signing in does not give BetBible access to your Gmail, Drive or Calendar.
• Apple sign-in — Where available in the iOS app, authentication and the name, identifier and email or private relay address that Apple supplies.
• Vercel and AI providers — Application hosting, request/security logs and AI Gateway. With your AI permission, BetBot sends your question and permitted context through the gateway to providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. See the AI choices below. Vercel privacy notice.
• Resend — Delivery of account emails, opted-in marketing and internal feedback notifications, including email addresses, message content and delivery information. Resend privacy policy.
• Expo and Apple push services — On supported iOS builds, notification delivery using your device token and notification content when you enable notifications. You can turn notifications off in your device settings. Expo privacy policy.
• Google Analytics — Optional measurement of public pages after a separate browser choice and web-stream settings review. Google Ads remains disabled. Google sign-in is separate. Google privacy policy.
• Meta and Reddit — With advertising permission, server-side conversion measurement for events such as registration, trials and purchases. Browser advertising pixels are disabled. Depending on the event, information can include hashed email/account identifiers and transaction value/currency. We do not send browser information, IP addresses or advertising click identifiers. Hashing does not make account identifiers anonymous: a provider may match them with information it already holds. Meta privacy policy; Reddit privacy policy.

Advertising and analytics providers may use information under their own policies, including to match activity and personalise advertising. The information shared for advertising is distinct from the account data you choose to share with BetBot.

BetBot AI choices

External AI assistance is optional and starts off. You can enable it in BetBot or Account. Basic screen explanations can run within BetBible without an external AI request. When external AI is enabled, your current message and public market context may be shared with AI providers. Anything you type in your message is included.

A separate financial-sharing choice starts off. If you enable it, BetBot may include your saved bankroll, bookmaker balances, tracked bets, performance and recent conversation for personalised answers. When it is off, earlier chat and automatic financial account context are excluded from external AI requests; personalised staking and performance answers are limited. Changing these choices starts a fresh chat on that device and applies to subsequent requests. Information already transmitted cannot be recalled.

BetBot requests use AI Gateway’s no-training and zero-data-retention routing controls. These controls do not mean BetBible keeps no records: we keep your account-linked permission choices and usage records such as model, token counts and request status. On both web and iOS, recent chat stays in memory for the current session: closing and reopening BetBot retains it, while reloading the website or restarting the app clears it. Chat history is not synchronised between devices. Your AI permission choices are saved to your account, separately from chat history. Saved memory can be viewed and removed in Account; it is currently excluded from automatically supplied profile context sent to the model.

5. Data Storage & Security

Account data is stored in Supabase, while hosting, email, payment and other providers process the information described above. We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect account data. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.

Full card numbers and card security codes are handled by Stripe. BetBible stores billing references and subscription information so we can manage your membership.

6. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

We use essential cookies and device storage for sign-in, sessions and preferences. Product analytics and advertising measurement are optional and start off. Use Privacy choices on the website or in Account to change them. Analytics can record how you use BetBible; detailed betting interactions stay within BetBible. External website analytics tags are currently paused pending a provider-settings review. Advertising permission allows server-side signup and subscription reporting to Meta and Reddit, including hashed account identifiers. Native advertising tracking is disabled. Email marketing and BetBot AI have separate choices.

We remember privacy choices for 180 days. Signed-in choices are saved to your account; a browser refusal is not silently replaced by an account opt-in. Server-side advertising reporting also checks your current permission. Withdrawal stops future optional tracking, but does not erase information already held by providers. Essential sign-in, security, billing and requested product features continue regardless of these choices. Disabling essential cookies may affect sign-in.

7. Access, Correction & Privacy Requests

You can contact us to:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information
• Deletion — Request account deletion or ask about other personal information we hold, subject to applicable retention requirements
• Complaint — Lodge a complaint with us or with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)

For any of these requests, contact us at hey@betbible.com.au. We aim to respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing personal information, and will explain if we cannot fulfil a request or need more time.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When account deletion succeeds, we remove the account and its linked records from the active application database. This does not automatically erase copies in backups, operational logs, payment-provider records or correspondence already sent to support. Those records may have separate retention periods, including where needed for legal, tax or dispute purposes. You can contact us about information that remains outside the active account. We also retain a minimal email-address fingerprint, email preference and its date/source after account deletion so marketing stays off. This record does not contain your raw email address, name or account ID; it is not treated as anonymous data. Contact us if you have a question about this record.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

Our primary application database is in Australia, but the services described above may process or store information overseas, including in the United States. Locations vary by provider and service; an Australian database does not mean all information stays in Australia. The linked provider policies describe their international processing. 11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
